Question by Ivory: How much debt is "a lot" to have, in terms of credit card debt?
I'd like to know how much is considered a lot.

My nephew has $ 8K in credit card debt. I don't really have any, so I don't know if this is "a lot" or not too bad.

How much is "a lot"?
How much is "average"?
