Question by elizookie: Would consolidating credit card debt with a personal line of credit improve my credit score?
I was checking my credit score with creditkarma.com and found out that my score lowered a lot due to outstanding credit card debt. The report calculated my score based on the debt from my credit cards, but not from my personal line of credit. If I "payed off" my credit card using my line of credit, would that improve my credit score?
