Question by Go with the flow: Why does Alaska have such high credit card debt per citizen?
Alaska at $ 7,665
Nevada at $ 6,517.
(of those that carry credit card balances, not the ones that pay in full).
I can see Nevada, since they have been hit very hard by the foreclosure mess and gambling casinos.
Lowest cc debt = North Dakota
I can see this, since there is an employment boom.
But why Alaska?
